Hightower Whipped Tallow Begins With Botanicals

We don't simply whip plain tallow and add a scent.
Many of our creations begin with botanical-infused tallow.
Depending on the formulation, we slowly infuse selected herbs, flowers and traditional botanicals into our tallow.
These may include:
Calendula, chamomile, hibiscus, rosehips, gotu kola, haritaki, lavender, frankincense and myrrh.
Some of our botanical infusions may continue under gentle warmth for up to eight hours.
Once the infusion is complete, the botanical material is carefully strained.
The infused tallow then becomes the foundation of the finished product.
From Infused Tallow to Whipped Cream
After straining, we can pair our botanical-infused tallow with complementary ingredients selected for the particular formula.
Throughout the Hightower apothecary, you may find ingredients such as:
- Jojoba oil for a lighter skin feel.
- Squalane for its silky texture.
- Rosehip oil in selected facial formulations.
- Sea buckthorn oil in specialty botanical formulas.
- Castor oil in selected creations.

If you're using an anhydrous tallow product, you may enjoy applying it while your skin is still slightly damp.
Wait a moment before adding more.
Your skin should feel moisturized—not overloaded.
Can Whipped Tallow Be Used on the Face?
That depends on the complete formulation.
A facial tallow product and a body balm may both begin with tallow but contain very different complementary ingredients.
Choose a product designed for the area where you intend to use it and always read the complete ingredient list.
