At Hightower Tallow Co., every botanical is chosen with intention. We don't simply add plants to our products — we slowly infuse them into tallow, allowing their naturally occurring compounds to become part of the finished formulation.

These are some of the botanicals you'll find at the heart of our apothecary.

FRANKINCENSE + MYRRH

Ancient aromatic resins that bring an unmistakably rich, earthy character to our botanical infusions. Frankincense and myrrh have been treasured for centuries across cultures and traditions — and they hold a special place in the Hightower apothecary.

CALENDULA

The brilliant golden flower has a long history of use in traditional botanical preparations and is one of our favorite apothecary ingredients. Calendula brings warmth and a beautiful golden hue to our slow infusions.

ROSE + ROSEHIP

A beautiful pairing that brings the garden into our formulations. Roses lend their delicate botanical character to our infusions, while rosehip oil provides a naturally rich complement to tallow — making it one of our most beloved finishing ingredients.

ROSEMARY

Fresh, herbaceous, and timeless — rosemary is featured throughout several Hightower bath, body, and hair formulations. Its clean, botanical character pairs beautifully with tallow and other apothecary ingredients.

GOTU KOLA

A treasured botanical with centuries of traditional use that has earned a special place in our Night Reset infusion. Gotu kola is one of the most carefully chosen ingredients in the Hightower apothecary.

CHAMOMILE

A delicate flower that perfectly reflects the gentle, slow ritual behind Hightower's botanical preparations. Chamomile brings a softness and calm to our formulations that we deeply love.

More Than Botanicals

In addition to our botanical infusions, we thoughtfully finish our formulations with complementary oils and ingredients such as rosehip, sea buckthorn, squalane, jojoba, castor oil, vitamin E, and bakuchiol — each chosen to work in harmony with tallow and the botanicals we've infused into it.
